Junior Leaders Award

The UK Dodgeball Association Junior Leadership Award is for children under 12 years of age. The award can be easily delivered by any teacher or coach with limited to no knowledge of the sport of dodgeball. The award can be delivered to a small group of 10-15 children over a 2 hour period or broken down into more manageable sessions to suit.

The award consists of 3 modules:
Module 1 – The Sport
Module 2 – Leadership & Communication
Module 3 – Planning

A step by step guide to delivering the award and a series of 5 session plans are available within the resource booklet. The resource booklet also provides the deliverer with skill practices, games and alternative versions of the sport that can be delivered by a teacher, coach or even junior leader at your after school club or within your PE lesson.

Dodgeball Leadership Award

The Dodgeball Leadership Award puts basic leadership skills such as communication and organisation into a sports specific context, with the aim of training young people so that they can lead others in the sport of Dodgeball.
This award is suitable for young people from the age of 12 regardless of their previous leadership experience. Maximum number on a course = 24 Minimum number on a course = 10

2. Arrange a date for UKDBA Leadership Tutor to come to your school to deliver the award
3. Certificates for all successful candidates will arrive at your school
